Closet If you dont read what I post regularly, youre probably not aware of what I collect. I would say most people are not aware of it. Some might have an idea, but that idea is based on the knowledge I have shared. Maybe theyve heard about it, but its not like I parade it around. I dont shout it from the roof tops and I dont go door to door telling people about it. There are some places where I feel comfortable enough to bring up the subject, but Im usually surrounded by likeminded people with the same ambitions. It would benefit me to spread the word. The more people I find who are interested and want to be a part of it would mean more opportunities for me. But very few people have seen what I have. Not because I want to hoard it away. Its not because its so ultra rare that I wont let anyone bask in the glory or stand in its presence. No, its just not on display. Its tucked away in totes inside a closet. I have a small display, but it too is in the closet. If someone brings it up, Im glad to share my knowledge and even show them what I have. But that is the real issue. For it is easier for me to keep my toys, my collection, my ideas, hidden away. That way I steer clear of anyone that would find my collection strange or childish and put me in a position to explain it. So I can go about my day, just like everyone else, keeping my secret quiet a little longer.
