Club Update Just some things to update you. We are still looking for any swimmers who can volunteer for this Saturday to take part in money collecting event at Buckley Football Club. Sarah Moore, our Junior Parent Rep, is looking after this event and would love any more volunteers. Please see her at club - we are meeting at 1.30 Saturday at Football Ground and carrying out Raffle and walking around with Buckets for loose change with fans - all monies collected goes towards the club for our swimmers. We are also reminding everyone that we have a bag packing afternoon at Asda Queensferry on 15th November between 4pm and 8pm. further details will be announced shortly - again all monies raised help towards our swimmers. The Sponsored Swim will now take place on Sunday 16th February at club between 2.30 & 5pm. George, Head Coach, has moved date so that we can concentrate after xmas on preparing for Valentine Meet & Regional Championships coming up. Further details will be advised in due course. With all these events in mind we wish to do something different with swimmers and reward them for all their hard work and dedication. We are therefore looking in new year to arrange a kids day or night out. We have various ideas but also wish to put it to everyone in case they have a better idea. The current options in place include Trip Alton Towers Tenpin Bowling/Laser Quest Chester Tenpin Bowling Flint Go karting Sandycroft Crocky Trail Chester Plas Power Climbing Area Wrexham Any other suggestions or ideas - let us know and we can add to pot to decide best option for swimmers. On Gala calender it shows event in Leeds 21/22 December this is a long course event and for qualifiers only - George has decided not to enter owing to entry criteria and close proximity to xmas. Finally reminder to parents who still has trophies for presentation Evening to return to club.
