Clutch housing cover. How many of you are running your trucks without this component? I am completely restoring a 75 Jimmy that was originally an automatic. Im at the point of installing the clutch assembly, SM465 and 205. I dont have this part. A quick look under my 81 K3500 crew with the same drivetrain and I dont see this part either. By this picture I took from my 81 factory service manual, it looks like the clutch housing cover might cover the opening at the bottom of the flywheel. I assume to keep dirt out of there. I have obviously been running my crew cab all over the AZ desert for 8 or 9 years without it and no problems so far. Just curious to know how many others run without it.
