Co-Creator/Content Coordinator of V-Mix, Canadas first national TV show covering contemporary South Asian artists, #RaoulJuneja to attend #ANOKHI11 ANOKHI has been one of the biggest supporters of my work in the hip-hop and South Asian music scenes since they featured me in their debut issue 11 years ago. Its a huge honor to be invited to their 11th anniversary awards show, and to be recognized for a non-traditional field like Music Media. Im thrilled to be amongst such a prestigious list of ANOKHI honorees. - Raoul Juneja BIO: Born in Toronto, Ontario, Raoul Juneja grew up in New York, but returned in his teens to attend high school in his hometown. Intrigued by the various forms of media, he studied at the University of Western Ontario where he was a columnist for the campus newspaper, The Gazette, and a deejay on his own radio show. In 2001, Juneja started his own music and production company, Lyrical Knockout, and hes produced the documentary Hip-Hop 4 Africa, a film that creates awareness and educates viewers on the Nelson Mandela Childrens Fund Canada. A prominent fixture in the Canadian hip-hop and South Asian community, Juneja is currently the news reporter and music and program coordinator for OMNI Televisions program V-Mix, Canadas first South Asian music show which he spearheaded and helped create.
