Coal Plants, the biggest source of pollutant waste and contributor to climate change, has just been granted permits to operate and expand in Misamis Oriental. Our government do this , despite the available option to rehabilitate and build hydro electric plants. When the government is so obsessed with economic growth, what they tend to forget is that the growth which they are talking about is the profit of big business. What big business tend to forget, is that the time is getting ripe for the end of the industrial revolution.
