Coastliner goes Black, but will eventually go back.... Yorkshire Coastliner has temporarily gained a surprising addition to the fleet in the form of refurbished Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 1 X6VTD (3606), new as YC53MXO - seen here at Hallcroft Lane in Copmanthorpe. I had got a photo of it just leaving York city centre, but the photo was ruined by walking people and so I had to cycle pretty quickly along Tadcaster Road to keep up with it (fortunately heavy traffic slowed it down) - the second photo shows it at Middlethorpe heading along the Taddy Road. It was an hour later through York than expected, as it had been swapped at Malton with 414, and so due to this the original plan of photting this in motion had to be abandoned. This bus has been loaned to Malton depot, because surprisingly they have a shortage of vehicles... bet they werent expecting that when they sent 1837 and 1059 back to York, and 1839 over to Burnley!!
