Come and learn what it takes to start your own business! Have you been thinking about starting your own business? Do you have what it takes to do so? Do you live north of the Manatee River? Suncoast Community Capital , a not-for profit organization in Manatee County, is partnering with the City of Palmetto and the Palmetto CRA to bring a FREE small business (up to five employees) and small business lending (up to $15,000) seminar to the Palmetto Library in September. Thanks to a generous gift from the Bank of America Charitable Foundation, this is the FIRST in a series of five presentations throughout the county. This event is specifically geared to people that live north of the river or anyone who might like to do business in the area. The event is being held Tuesday, September 17, at the Palmetto Library, 923 6th Street West, Palmetto. The program begins promptly at 5:30pm with speakers discussing small business coaching, microlending possibilities, and opportunities for new businesses north of the Manatee River. Representatives from the City of Palmetto, the Palmetto CRA, Manatee County Government, Bank of America, Manatee Community Federal Credit Union and Suncoast Community Capital will be available to discuss their small business services.
