My mail to [email protected] and [email protected]: Respected Sir/Madam, The CSAB2014 counselling for admission into NIT/IIITs is being conducted successfully by the respective authorities. I am very much impressed with the improvements in the counselling when compared to last year procedures. But I am very much dissatisfied with only one rule by which the parents and students are in very much fear to proceed further to fourth round., though they are having chance to get a good option in terms of college and branch than the option on hand after third round. The existing fourth round procedure- For which a student should surrender his seat and reapply for the counselling by which he will loose claim on the seat which is on hand. Though there is chance of getting a better option the risk is very much fearful(Natural) to the parents and students. Thus their right is being deprived, which is inhuman and against to the fundamental rights. Not at all a justified RULE of the counselling procedure of 2014. Hence I request you to look into the matter once and please make an amendment in such a way that a student need not surrender his seat for proceeding further round i.e. fourth round. The next rounds can be conducted as per the existing procedures, which are very good for everyone. Hope I expressed my view as one of parent of aspirant and citizen of India in understandable manner and expect a positive response from your end for the benefit of students who deserve the right seat and right college as per their rank. As there is time to release third round seat allotment kindly amend the rule immediately and rectify the fourth round procedure to avoid tension and fore go of deserved seats in fourth round counselling.
