Coming down D, approaching 4; a bronze 4-door launches into the intersection from the right (SE), swerved toward me (uphill), slams on the brakes and proceeds to try and hide his vehicle in the cane grass on the NW corner of the intersection; starting to get suspicious. Arrive adjacent to vehicle; dark-haired male, about 200 lbs covering his face in the drivers seat, smiling female passenger is leaning against door, and theres a child in an infants seat secured behind the smiling female. 15 more feet and Im stopped in the middle of 4 & D, looking South on 4, from whence launched the dark, perhaps blue 4-door, and I see a largish man run past a formidable guard dog, one of several guard dogs, jump the neighbors chain gate, run around the rear of the dark car parked at the foot of the driveway, and the car, drivers windshield smashed as by several blows from a baseball bat, speeds toward 4&D, hangs a left, and theyre gone. My home was robbed of a 240 Photovoltaic panel, inverter, my entire DeWalt tool collection 2 weeks ago. They knew what they were coming for, but they didnt know my driveway, so the damage to the infrastructure was monumental. I sincerely hope the damage to their vehicle was extensive; my copulas and 5K generator were complete losses. And it was done in broad daylight. If the Board of HACA, as it presides now is incapable of even the most remedial of Neighborhood Watches, so be it. Well have a new board soon enough, and the Community involvement to resolve issues such as this. Rumor has it we have the tools, just not the leadership. I havent seen the tools, lest you refer to the ruling coven, but the actual Leadership have been routed by what remain of the Board. And their days are numberer.
