Coming down from northern Israel we had a Hamas welcoming committee. while I was parking the car, the air raid siren went off. I left the car hardly parked, and we ran to the nearest bomb shelter. While we were there we heard three blasts, apparently the blessed Iron Dome rockets taking down the incoming missiles. A few minutes later we left the shelter, we were still able to see the mushroom of smoke, the remnants of the rocket battle which took place above our heads. on the way to Tel Aviv we reviewed the standard operating procedures communicated by the Israeli authorities. There was no panic, no rush, just orderly performing the procedures. We are in Tel Aviv. Where I was born and raised, where I went to school, where my daily lives, where my father is buried. Im home.
