Commendations for Afahokor Danjuma Duncan, Zino Ugboma, Emamusi - TopicsExpress

Commendations for Afahokor Danjuma Duncan, Zino Ugboma, Emamusi Obiodeh, Nelson Egware, and other members of this great Forum. I am proud to have you guys as friends. I greatly appreciate the aggressive advocacy that brought about awareness to the needs of the Isoko Nation. I also praise the strong determination of members to pursue to the end issues that have been shared on this forum. When the forum started it was as the name suggested about the town of Umeh that was without a good access road. For years Umeh town was neglected by previous governments, but it took the God given initiative of an illustrious son of the town to bring sufferings of his people to the attention of the world. Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan took interest on the matter and approved the contract for the road after so many people like myself pleaded and prayed that something is done about the road. And at last it no longer a cry of Umeh need road but Umeh has road..Glory to God. The Umeh need road advocacy further drew attention other parts of Isoko land and it can only get better. A seed has been sown by this generation and it will grow to be a fruitful tree for our people. I therefore propose that we honour Duncan with a special advocacy award. Here is a young man who has been my friend since he was at the Oleh campus of Delta state University studying Law. I have always been impressed with his outspoken nature. Duncan am proud of you. God bless the Isoko Nation and her young leaders.
