Communists hate soldiers. I know that. But what they hate the most are kind, disciplined, morally upright and thinking soldiers. Why? because they have no issues to level against us. They absolutely love abusive soldiers, scalawags which gives them plenty of ammunition. They hate seeing development, and economic prosperity in the countryside because it invalidates their cause. They hate good governance because it proves that the system works. They love seeing the poor kept poor because it swells their ranks. This now is the challenge of governance. Address the issues that the enemy exploits. They claim to be pro poor, but honestly, all they want is to grab the reins of power from the legitimate government and replace it with a socialist system. But here they will face the conundrum of all revolutionaries. On what moral grounds will they claim legitimacy if achieved through violent means?
