Community Basket A Loonie A Guess at The Community Village Last month, in a joint venture with The Community Village, the Grande Prairie Volunteer Services Bureau (GPVSB) updated the Community Basket. The Community Basket offers donations of personal hygiene products such as shampoo, soap, diapers and feminine hygiene products for those in need. The Community Basket proved to be popular as members of the community accessed the products offered, showing us the necessity of continuing this program. As part of our efforts to keep the basket full we have launched a monthly “A Loonie A Guess” game where anyone can donate a dollar and make a guess of how many items are in a jar. This month the winner will receive a Back to School package. All proceeds from the game will go towards the Community Basket.
