Compensation Culture Conference: Comparative Tort Law Reform in the 21st Century Friday 23 May - Saturday 24 May at 9.30-3.00 This conference brings together a prestigious list of national and international speakers to discuss a variety of issues affecting the relationship between tort law, compensation culture and law reform. This issue has been and continues to be the subject of debate in many jurisdictions. In addition to widespread media attention, the subject has also featured prominently in political, legal and academic discourse. The timing of the event marks the 10th anniversary of Ireland’s most significant attempt to address the issue, the Personal Injuries Assessment Board.
