Competing in the Arnold for my first time was a dream come true. I still remember running down the stairs screaming with excitement that I was invited, out of only 7 women in the world chosen! My husband reminded me of how special this was when he posted this really awesome post today. I guess he was going through some files and found my letter. Being on stage and judged alongside these other amazing women was a very special memory. I was fortunate to have this experience a couple times before they took womens bodybuilding out of the show, even after my cervical spinal surgery which was another landmark event for me! Having this privilege again in the future would be wonderful and who knows what the future holds! My message to you is never stop chasing your dreams. If you knew the many uphill battles and obstacles it took to get to my dream in that moment, you would take heart and know that you too can also achieve great things in your own journey! Thank you all for your support and appreciation. I hope this post can motivate you to never give up!
