Computer models are not agreeing where the next system will track, - TopicsExpress

Computer models are not agreeing where the next system will track, exactly, but they are in agreement that temperatures will warm up and we will see a wintry mix of precipitation late Sunday night into Monday. The track will make a huge difference in what type, and how much, of each precipitation we see. There is the potential in all of the KWWL viewing area to see freezing rain, sleet, rain and snow late Sunday night into Monday morning with dry weather taking over for Monday afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 30s for Monday afternoon with a lot of melting going on. Everything will refreeze at night with lows back around 20. That pattern will continue through most of the week, but at some point, probably Tuesday night, dense fog will form. That will be tough to get rid of and will ruin our forecast highs for the following days. Another system tracking through by Thursday may help a little bit, but that has the potential to produce another round of wintery mix early Thursday morning. We will cool back into the 20s by Saturday as yet another system brings a chance of snow to the state.
