Conclusion: After 7+ hours with Comcast I finally reached a level two technician who, in 10 minutes transferred all email accounts from the old to the new. Spent another 45 minutes having to reconfigure setups on mail client. Ironically the technician was most friendly and helpful. And wouldnt you know....two hours later Comcast called about the first trouble ticket. That was filed this morning. 11 hours ago.
