Confessions of Richard Schmieg: My guilty pleasure is...looking up word definitions/histories. LOL There is so much to be learned about/from words. :) Newest discovery: The word jot (as in jot this down quickly) is derived from the ninth letter of the Greek dictionary, iota (as in the phrase in Matthew 5:18, ...not one iota, not one dot...). So is the Spanish name for the letter j (jota). Is anyone with me in my nerdhood?? I think its rad!
