Congratulations to Edinburgh Napier BA (Hons) Photography and Film graduate, Andy Goddard, on the World Premiere of his début feature film, ‘Set Fire to the Stars’, at the 2014 Edinburgh International Film Festival. The film has public screenings at the Edinburgh Film Festival on Monday June 23rd and Tuesday June 24th. Andy co-wrote ‘Set Fire to the Stars’, along with Welsh actor, Celyn Jones which features ‘Lord of the Rings’ star, Elijah Wood. Andy has a distinguished record as a television director, directing; episodes of ‘Downton Abbey’, ‘Dracula’, ‘Law and Order: UK’, ‘Torchwood’ and ‘Twisted Tales’. He was also nominated for a BAFTA and won a gold Hugo Award in 1997 for his work on ‘Little Sisters’. We are very proud of his achievements!
