Congratulations to NCCC Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club (NCCC) has just announced that they will host five ICC Cricket World Cup Matches in 2019 plus Test Matches in 2017 and 2018. Trent Bridge is world renowned as a sporting venue and millions of people worldwide will be focusing on the area. These matches bring thousands of fans to the Borough which will be a great boost for our local economy and for the East Midlands economy as a whole. This also shows the benefit of our continued support and partnership with the club. Congratulations to everyone involved at the Cricket Club for securing these prestigious fixtures.’
