Congratulations to Zephyr Teachout, Tim Wu and Robert Jackson for their inspiring campaigns. Congratulations to Kathy Hochul and Adriano Espaillat for their hard-fought victories. To our now-nominee Governor Cuomo: we understand the need for consultation with all sides, and for Lyndon Johnson-style horse-trading. (This approach sure worked for Marriage Equality!) What is not acceptable is opposing people in your own party to enable the ethics-challenged, Bad Government other party to take power in the NY State Senate. That is what you agreed not to do when you won the support of the De Blasio coalition which re-nominated you. The Democratic Party voters chose you to lead New York--as a Democrat.
