Congratulations to all the placegetters and competitors who rode this weekend at Reynella. We hope you all had a great time! Obviously the committee works very hard behind the scenes to bring you these events but there are also many other people who without them , we couldnt run efficiently. Firstly we must say a big thank you to Farlie Taylor as our outgoing chairperson who has worked very hard over the last several years to help make Reynella bigger and better each year. Thank you and welcome to Bec Fidge who has taken on the huge role as our current chairperson, it is a huge learning curve to step up to this job! We have a very hardworking committee who has all put in behind the scenes before and during the event. Not only are we trying to stage an event but many of us are riding as well or trying to look after children or helping other riders etc. Everyone who helps to run any event are the same. Besides our wonderful committee I would also like to thank so many other people who made this weekend possible. Wayne Copping for our fantastic course! Gillian Rolton our TD who has to have eyes in the back of her head to keep up with everything. Also assistant TDs Penti Puro and Ashley Copping. Our treating vet Fiona Jacob from Adelaide Hills Equine Centre. The wonderful Jan Tomlinson who did an amazing job as our Doctor. Jans daughter Lara was riding but we were lucky enough to steal her away for the weekend. Our commentators Michael Clark, Luke Jones and Phil Pannell who kept us informed all weekend. Dressage judges Robyn Stokes, Fiona Heysen (who also competed), Janene Clark, Rai Walla, Chris Bonney, Emily Bennett, Tamzin Adcock and Liz Hunt. The pencillers Rachel Heysen, Lynnette Greenfield, Naomi Vanderweg, Kerry Kluske, Ryan Fletcher, Kerryn Hampton and Adele Curry. John and Ann Fidge who keep us up to date with the computing. The cross country crew of Dougal Rose, Ian Whyntie, Judy Whyntie, Mike and Judy Potter, Rob Hammond, Hennie Potgiter, Bronwyn Gillot and Robin Brown who helped with the start and finish, marshaling, running, fence repairs etc! All the wonderful XC judges, Michelle Tink, Bill Marles, Julie and David Cavanagh, Mike and Marilyn Ottoy, Susan Susan Westham Coleman,Jan Hawker, Louise Dalby, Glenys Bennett, Heather Stam, Rhianna Stam, Bridget Jan, Vicki Stevens, Roxanne Coleman, Dee and Colin Christie, Sue Brown, Julie Heading, Bruce Bannister, Kay Martin, Cheryl Kilmier and any anyone else I have missed! The team at the show jumping, Michael Haese our course designer, Rebecca Puro the judge, penciller Michelle Potgieter and helpers Taleah Daish, Peter Chapman and others. Melissa Richardson Yates for the fantastic catering with vegetarian options!!!! Also our Farrier Tyson Van Den Ende and the crew at St Johns. Of course all rest of the committee deserves a pat on the back I think!
