Saturday night June 21st will be Kids Night at the races. Special events and activities are being planned for the kids for the evening. The night will also include special events as a benefit for Zach Bottorff. Salem, Indianas 7-year old Zach Bottorff has been diagnosed with a DIPG tumor located on his brain stem that is in-operable. After being diagnosed in April, Zach resides at Kosiars where he is undergoing extensive treatments & has undergone numerous surgeries. At this time he still isnt able to use the right side of his body and has yet to talk. Doctors have been able to take an experimental biopsy of this rare tumor and Zach is only one of two able to give a live biopsy. Zach progresses more each day but still needs more.. One special fund raising event for Zach will be the auction of a Brownstown Speedway two seater Late Model ride with Hall of Fame driver and crowd favorite Mike Jewell. Bids will be accepted until Friday June 20th and the winning bidder will get his ride with Mike Jewell on Saturday night June 21st.
