Congress Woman Barbara Lee has a good perspective on the issues at hand. I agree! We do need a debate to exercise our right to vote on this critical issue/s on the table. Dr. Martin Luther King during his Vietnam speech, spoke out against the war then and Barbara Lee is speaking out today. Dr. King said that our silence (at times we should be speaking out) is as guilty as the perpetrators. We need people who would be bold enough to take a stand when not in favor of the majority and speak boldly as they ought to speak. Paul in the Bible ask that you would pray for him as an ambassador for Christ who was called to declare the word Eph. 6:19 that he would declare it boldly , so let us pray for our political leaders as well according to the Word of God in 1Tim 2: 1-8. Pray to God for boldness and wisdom and clarity to know when to speak and how to lead the American people during this political season.
