Considering that, due to the liberals labour market reforms of the nineties, most jobs these days are on a temporary contract or casual basis, it is a real kick in the teeth to attack minimum wage and penalty rates. Is the liberal party trying to create an underclass of slaves that are forever working just to barely pay the bills and keep their heads above the water? As a so called christian, abbot is a miserable failure. Maybe he needs to read those bits of Jesus teachings, yknow, the ones about compassion and charity to the poor.
