Constructing a Postmodern thinking cap. 1. Humility. This is humility in the context of science, and nothing to do with being humble. Humility destroys egocentrism, and fosters creative thinking. 2. Critical Thinking. Critical Thinking patiently weighs evidence, and parses cause and effect as far as possible before doing so. Egocentric thinking is blind to cause and effect, and sees only the here and now. 3. Compassion. Dont be afraid of that concept because it seems everyone else ignores it. Its in every one. Its the biologic heart of happiness. Sadly, focusing on selfishness destroys it. Theres no peace without solidarity, and theres no solidarity without compassion. Changing culture is about getting minds in sync. These are 3 foundational thought processes needed at the top of every mind that wishes to see justice. These are the go to ideas for every situation. In any situation ask if those values are preserved. An objective reality is that humanity needs behavioral codes. Its the nature of all cultures. Those are the ones we need for the progress of global humanity. Its not rocket science in my view.
