Construction Day 17: From the pictures you cant see the seriousness of what is happening. It appears to be as simple as a man observing a co-worker as he digs a trench. When looking at the second picture you can see that there is a man in that trench (Anthony Kuntz), and the reality is the walls around him can collapse at any moment if the precision and movement of the equipment is not properly maneuvered and take his life. The seriousness is on their faces, yet its just a part of the job that they skillfully do on a regular basis. The third pic is two brothers relaxed and smiling after one co-worker climbs up out of the hole. You should know by now that I will turn this into a metaphor for life, so here goes: There are times in life where we all find ourselves in a hole and the walls seem to be ready to come crashing down around us. Its nice to have a friend to watch over us and cheer us on when we overcome. The family here at Bob Swope Ford is a lot like that.
