The Faith of Abel, Enoch, Noah 4By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh. 5By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. The Faith of Abraham (Genesis 15:1-7; Romans 4:1-12; Galatians 3:1-9; James 2:14-26) 8By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God. 11Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised. 12Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. 13These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. 14For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country. 15And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. 16But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city. 17By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, 18Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: 19Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. The Faith of Isaac, Jacob, Joseph 20By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. 21By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff. 22By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones. The Faith of Moses 23By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the kings commandment. 24By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaohs daughter; 25Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; 26Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. 27By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. 28Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. 29By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. 30By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days. The Faith of Many (Joshua 2:1-14) 31By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace. 32And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, 34Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38(Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 39And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. 9 hours ago · Like Linne DVhee THAT THEY WITHOUT US SHOULD NOT BE MADE PERFECT. the total number of believers should come in, just like in the Rev. bk where the martyrs await their justice/reward, but could not until the total number of martyrs have come in. 9 hours ago · Edited · Like Sean Allen Chaney Hes not talking about Israel. Hes talking about the ultimate reward for the believers who endure and overcome the perils of the world. The sons of God are those who accept Christ and walk in his ways, even through the most troubling times. THis letter is to the Romans. These verses were actually very inspirational for the MANY Christians who were persecuted and martyred by the Roman establishment in their day. 9 hours ago · Like Linne DVhee Rev.bk sean 9 hours ago · Like Linne DVhee LAST BK,we cannot be complete without it about an hour ago · Edited · Like Mary Charity Revelation 7 the 144,000 Sealed Israelites and then teh christians...[believers] 7 After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. 2 Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: 3 “Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put a seal on the foreheads of the servants of our God.” 4 Then I heard the number of those who were sealed: 144,000 from all the tribes of Israel. 5 From the tribe of Judah 12,000 were sealed, from the tribe of Reuben 12,000, from the tribe of Gad 12,000, 6 from the tribe of Asher 12,000, from the tribe of Naphtali 12,000, from the tribe of Manasseh 12,000, 7 from the tribe of Simeon 12,000, from the tribe of Levi 12,000, from the tribe of Issachar 12,000, 8 from the tribe of Zebulun 12,000, from the tribe of Joseph 12,000, from the tribe of Benjamin 12,000. The Great Multitude in White Robes 9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out in a loud voice: “Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.” 11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying: “Amen! Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever. Amen!” 13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation; they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. 15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence. 16 ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’[a] nor any scorching heat. 17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’[b] ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’[c]” 8 hours ago · Like Mary Charity yes, to the jew, and then to the gentile..GOD does Not change and He always keeps His prophecies.(Malachi 4:6 last days turning the hearts of both father and child, the ancestor Israel and the offspring, the engrafted branches) 8 hours ago · Edited · Like Henry Swarey Never forget that the Jews today are Judah, Levi and Benjamin. The other tribes were divorced from Yahweh, became gentiles and are lost. These are the lost tribes that Jeshua will send the two witnesses to, to return this innumerable multitude back to the fold. Will there be any actual gentiles among them? Were they any among them when Israel went out of Egypt? Yes! But they will be predominately the lost Son who was found in the story of the Lost Son. Matthew 15:24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. The lost sheep of the House of Israel are not Judah, Levi and Benjamin. The lost sheep of the House of Israel are Ephraim, Manasseh, Dan, Naphtali, Issachar, Zebulun, Gad, Asher, Ruben, and Simeon. 7 hours ago · Unlike · 1 Henry Swarey There are many in modern day Christianity who will see this coming restoration as a travesty and as the worlds greatest act of theft. They too will join the Beast and False Prophet in their unrighteous indignation to purge The Holy Land of these Usurpers. In so doing they will take the Mark of the Beast, and be damned. 7 hours ago · Unlike · 1 Henry Swarey That is your great falling away, or great rebellion. 7 hours ago · Unlike · 1 Linne DVhee that is why there is the Genesis injunction, those who bless you Jacob,Israel will be blessed but those who curse you shall be cursed. 2 hours ago · Edited · Like Linne DVhee To accept the sharia law rather than Mssiahs law in Jrusalem, with His nazarenes, is to take the mark of the beast islm, BUT as for me and my house we will serve the Lord, bk of Joshua. 2 hours ago · Edited · Like
