Continuing on from last year Perspectives is back. We bring writers and directors together to create two forty five minute pieces this time. The teams were put together and given ideas to show different Perspectives, the theme is occupation The shows are at The Kings Arms 21st-22nd June 2013 7:30pm £4 (£3) - booking: kingsarmssalford/details.php?show_id=891 These will be script in hand productions The pieces are: "Camouflage" written by Steve Timms and directed by Paul Blinkhorn - a British army camp overseas is forced by the cost-conscious UK Government to become a pilot for a new scheme to privatise the storemasters section of the army. And "Facing North" written by Callum Mitchell and directed by Andrew C Husband - set in an unnamed country in the process of occupation by an invading army, a farmer and his pregnant wife attempt to flee across the border into neutral territory - which brings them into direct conflict with a ruthless army captain.
