You know our St James church has more than 400years of historical importance.Now also you can see the ancient materials in the region of our church. So this is our responsibility to look after and renew our church. Now a certain portion of our church has been completed by the help of some benefactors. But there are more works have to be finished. After 35years the first mass in the main part of the church was conducted and blessed by our mannar bishop Rev. Bishop. Raajappu Joseph on 25/07/2013. More village people came to that occasion and received the blessing of St James.
