Copying a comment from my niece, Cara McDonough. Belated Thanksgiving thanks for my amazing Grandmom, and for the week I spent with my wonderful, fun, hilarious and loving family, celebrating her 95 years. Our Thanksgiving was magical, just two days after Moms passing. I was struck at how much we laughed, how well we worked together, how delicious the food was, and how much fun we had with Cara and Justins children, Nora, age 5, and and Gabe, age 2. We had previously planned an early celebration of Moms upcoming 96th birthday on December 13, so we sang happy birthday to her and enjoyed the delicious cake. Hats off to my sister, Susan Mullan Furey and her family for hosting a fabulous day. I really felt Betty was there, enjoying that all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were together, giving thanks.
