Council meeting recap… All consent items were passed, with some being pulled out for clarification and/or objection. 5b. in regards to contract website enhancement, website hosting, and support services was reviewed in some detail as to exactly what would be addressed. 5d. SUP for Toyota dealership was reviewed based on clarification of previous additions for approval. 5g. Batting Cage Lighting project. Mainly pulled to continue one objection to the financial impact o the project. Public Hearing, and consider and act upon an ordinance amending Changes and Amendments to All Zoning Ordinances and Districts and Administrative Procedures”. No citizen input. Extended discussions by council members on timing of objections deadlines. Partially tabled, rest was passed. Annual review of the Town’s Comprehensive Plan with respect to current conditions and trends. Council members reviewed consultant documents and discussed how to proceed with future planning. Downtown Enhancements project. Council member discussed plans to put sidewalks, landscaping and lighting in the downtown “business” corridor. Several members discussed whether or not this was the right time to proceed since there is a current gap in businesses for the area. Other member felt this effort might actually encourage business growth there. Executive session invoked.
