Ill be posting a trailer a day this week to each of my 4 programmes: RADIO LIVE TRANSMISSION Curzon Soho, Fri 17 Oct, 9pm BFI Southbank, Sat 18 Oct, 6.15pm A short film programme as part of the Sonic strand at this year’s London Film Festival. Sound and music is important to all film, whatever the genre, but this programme of shorts and animations show how sound and music can be incorporated into a plot. A radio, a cassette player, an i-phone, vinyl records, home studio recording and even an acoustic choir are all used as plot devices in this selection, as well as films that are rooted in soundscapes.
