Courts impounds Iorfa’s car over 10m loan Less than 24 hours to his wedding , Court bailiffs from Makurdi High court have impounded a Passat car belonging to the Vice Chairman of Lobi stars football club , Coach Dominic Iorfa over 10 million naira loan. Dominic Iorfa, took an over draft of 10 million Naira from Access Bank plc , with agreed 28 percent interest in 2008. He defaulted in payment after which the bank wrote several letters of reminder, and subsequently they took him to court after ignoring their letters for payments. Dominic Iorfa did not file any defence and justice Theresa Igoche , agreed with the submission of counsel to Access Bank, that by law, he has agreed to the claim of the Bank and summarily entered judgement against Iorfa. He ordered Iorfa to pay the bank the sum of 11.2m. Last Tuesday Chief Bailiff James Avuur in company of policemen stormed Dominic Iorfa’s house in Makurdi to claim his property used as collateral. According to reliable sources, Iorfa manhandled the court bailiff and sent them away. Few minutes later, Iorfa was sighted at the high court, to report the court bailiff to the director of ligation . The court bailiff immediately ordered that all the gates to the Highcourt be locked and immediately ordered the impound of Iorfa’s passat car with registration number KAl 513 AA. The court bailiff vowed to storm the wedding venue yesterday and impound 4 jeeps . But Iorfa flooded the venue with dozens of security men in preparation of yesterdays showdown.
