Craigroyston Boys Club are pleased to announce that a number of our Coaches and Amateur players have now been taught CPR Training and how to use our Club defibrillator. We are the first Youth & Amateur Football Club in Edinburgh(possibly Scotland) to own their own defibrillator and have the personnel trained to use it. Craigroyston aim to have two of our Coaches as fully trained Instructors who will be able to teach other coaches in the use of the defibrillator. We hope this gives our parents, players and all visitors to Craigroyston Boys Club the peace of mind that we have such life saving equipment at hand, along with people trained to use it. We would like to give a big thanks to Robert Pearson of TRIM for help in setting up the training for us. Having our own defibrillator would not have been possible without Derek Moorhead and his excellent efforts in the Tough Mudder event which generated funds to help secure the defibrillator and accessories required to operate it.
