Crazy idea. That just might work! Standard time for the entire world. For convenience, say UTC (or GMT if you like that name better). The whole world follows it, so if youre in Australia, the sun may rise at 1400 hours and set at 0200 hours. So be it! Imagine the convenience of not having to calculate time differences, the money saved (no more confusion about what time where and when) and the time (oh, the irony) saved. If someone says lets skype at 0700 hrs - it is 0700 hrs everywhere! No confusion!
