Creativity is the mother of all inventions. It is the engine of all productive action. It is the very first revealed attribute of God in the Holy Scriptures. Order and beauty emerged out of the chaos and emptiness of Genesis Chapter 1, verse 1 because God’s creative energy came on display. The chaos and uncertainty of world systems today are crying loud for the manifestations of godly men who will employ their creative abilities to lighten the darkness. Creativity is the joy of living because it removes limitation and gives fresh lease to life. It adds flavor to living! GOD CREATED, MAN DISCOVERS When God made man, He blessed him with the authority to, “…replenish the earth…” (Genesis 1:28). Even though God finished His work of creation in six days and rested on the seventh day, He left man with the responsibility of subsequent creations. The duties of God and man are clearly defined: God created, man discovers. Hence, there is practically no area of human endeavour that has not been affected positively as a result of man’s creative abilities. Technology is constantly advancing, discoveries are endless and inventions spring up daily, yet it would interest you to know that discoveries are inexhaustible. God has created everything He will ever need to create. That is why the Bible says that there is nothing new under the sun. (Ecclesiastes 1:9-10). All we need is a commitment to explore and invent new things from God’s creation. Proverbs 25:2 says, It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter. Also, Psalm 111:2 says, The works of the Lord are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein. God has created all things and concealed them, waiting for keen and daring creative minds to explore. Those who search them out soon become kings among men. Invariably your discovery or invention is what makes you outstanding among men. Every environment, event or outstanding thing in life was created by someone. Nothing happens by accident, it takes creativity to make things happen. Dr. David Oyedepo said, “Every event is invented.” If you are waiting for everything you need to fall on your laps, you may never make a difference in life. Until you create something new, your world (or personal life) remains void and without form. God created you to be a discoverer, so to go through life without making any discoveries would be a disappointment to Him. If at your death your name dies with you, then you have not truly lived. That will not be your portion! Generations after you will acknowledge and celebrate your inventions in Jesus’ precious name. You are a co-creator with God! You must stop suffering what dummies suffer. You can turn your stagnation into your motivation! You can look at that situation that seems to be holding you down and tell it, “There is a way out of here and I am going now!” Psalms 104:24 says: O Lord, how many and varied are your works! (Amplified) There are yet many and varied discoveries to be made in virtually every field of human endeavor including spiritual, mental, social and physical. God sent you to the earth as a co-creator. He sent you here to replenish the earth and to contribute to the world through your creative abilities. There is something that eyes have not seen, nor ears heard that you could invent and present to your world. There is so much that has not entered the heart of men, but the Spirit of God will reveal them to you as you begin to stir up the creative power in your mind. Even if you think you can’t create new things, you can positively vary and improve the existing ones. This book will provoke your creative energy and launch you into the class of inventors. YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES Your creative mind is the gateway to discoveries. When the Bible says, “We have the mind of Christ,”(1 Corinthians 2:16), it means we have anointed minds, because the title “Christ” means “the anointed one.” We also know that Jesus is the Word of God. (John 1:14). All things were created by Him and for Him. So, your mind is anointed for creativity. Jesus said: …Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it… Revelations 3:8 IT ‘S OUR SEASON OF CHANGE The world is changing every day and the Church is not exempted. We are in our wisdom era; a mental revolution is spreading across the body of Christ; promoting maximum utilization of both spiritual and mental potentials. Changes are evolving daily through Christians who are utilizing their regenerated minds and God-given talents to achieve outstanding results. My objective in this book therefore, is to help you understand the limitless resources of your mind and discover the avenues of utilizing the same for your personal progress and well-being, for the edification of the body of Christ, as well as positive impact on the world at large. It is your turn! It’s time for your world to hear you. You too can discover new and better ways of doing things. You can initiate outstanding inventions.
