Credit Analyst Location: Oman Job Description: •Analysing Bank financials and placing reasonable lines for the banks to cater to the requirements of Financial Institutions, Treasury, Trade Finance and Correspondent Banking. •Cross selling of the bank’s other products. •Providing training opportunities to staff members of the department. •Responsible for operational aspect of the department and to obtain excellent audit ratings. •Raise funds for the bank through syndication whenever need arises in a competitive pricing. •To manage healthy funded and non-funded portfolio book in the bank within International Banking Department. •Ensure Credit risk associated with business propositions are thoroughly and objectively asses by taking into account all relevant counterparty and market information, the nature of the products involved, country risk and return (RAROC basis) relationship/portfolio issues. •Detailed FIG business proposals to setup the credit limits on banks, analysing banks with an analytical approach (CAMEL) along with peer analysis. Analysis of sovereign risks and setting up of country limits, in line with the FI business strategy. •Present the analysis of the FI business proposals to the credit committees consisting of members from the senior management of the bank •Determine internal risk ratings based on analysis, prepare and present bank credit risk assessment of the counterparties to rating committees. •From time to time perform credit analysis of the top liquidity providers in the region along with peer analysis for Management information and records. •Any other task of the Department/Division can be handled by him/her. Desired Profile: •Male/Female- Age Between 25 to 40 •Higher Secondary and above •Good communication skills •Good English Language •Good presentation skills •Annual Report writing •Balance Sheet interpretation •Cross selling products ability •Negotiation Skills to get better terms for the bank •Should be a team player •Should be able to deal with all parties i.e. bank internally and externally •Should be able to solve problems related to payments, reimbursement and others. •Should be able to work under pressure.
