Crime Stoppers Tip Leads to Arrest of Elusive Suspect GREENSBORO, NC (September 17, 2013) - Rodney Linell Griffin, 24, of 811 Creek Ridge Road, has been arrested after trying to elude capture. Griffin was originally featured on a billboard and on the internet as a Crime Stoppers Most Wanted suspect in March on felony charges. An anonymous tipster called the hotline yesterday afternoon with the suspect’s whereabouts. The GPD Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (V-CAT) took Griffin into custody as he attempted to flee out of a rear window of his residence at approximately 9 am today. He now faces multiple charges including Felony Assault by Strangulation, Felony Second-Degree Kidnapping and Misdemeanor Assault on a Female. Griffin is confined in Greensboro Jail Central on a domestic hold with no bond until his first court appearance scheduled for September 18.
