Croatia has been a place I have always wanted to explore ever since learning they had attractive women there and the family history etc. The capital Zagreb was beautiful by its untamed landscape combined with its evolving city from the years gone by of socialist rule. You see what I did there....inspirational stuff. The Croatians know how to cook and I was completely taken aback by the consistency of their quality dishes. Their food mainly consist of seafood and veal style dishes except for when I ate Roster...true story. Lucky for me Croatia is a democratic society and does not hate breakfast or muesli. Nearly all Croatians speak various levels of English and I have been taught different ways in which you can combine sayings......like the waiter who served us in Mali Ston; he would start and finish every sentence with yes please. I would ask for a water and he would say, Yes please; I would ask for directions to the toilet and was told, Yes please. Unfortunately for me Croatia does not have gyms anywhere and when I enquired about them I received laughter and frowns, in some instance I think my strong Aust accent may have made what l was asking for sound like, Do you know Jim. I can only assume there are no Jims in Croatia as I always received a no. Anyway with me having to carry Taryn everywhere and us eating such quality food and fine wine I have only managed to put on 100000kg. Hvar and Dubrovnik are very special places that are a must for anyone who wants to feel they are in the back drop of a James Bond movie. Below are photos from all the places we visited in Croatia.
