Crunch Time: The Reynoldsburg Ohio teachers strike has now entered its second week. The initial energy that marked this strike now faces a normal adjustment to worries of a lack of a check and the issues of managing a strike line and continuing the positive public communication that has marked this job action. Over the early years of my involvement in the labor movement I had the responsibility of conducting many strikes, some of which lasted painfully long. What is needed here is pressure upon the school board to negotiate in good faith toward a settlement. Here is where we all can help.
