Cup day yesterday down at Higher Walton saw us entertain Chorley Athletic F.C. The Dale started well, but soon found ourselves 1-0 down, this really urged the lads on and we levelled through a Dan McCarthy header. Level at the break, more confidence was needed throughout, the 2nd half started very well and we soon went in front from a corner, captain Warren Gainer sneaking in at the front post! From there we seemed to control the game, running out 5-2 winners (B.Pryce 2, D.McCarthy 1, M.Bulcock 1, W.Gainer 1). A little mention to Alex Holland and Barry Pryce with joint MoM performances! Well Done Lads!!!
