Curious as to what Canadian Stories is? This is a Facebook page dedicated to a blog and book-in-progress with the same name, in which I (Cody Groat, age 19) am simply trying to meet some of the coolest people our country has to offer and share the experience with you! The blog (with story links throughout this page) features such names as champion poker player Mike Timex McDonald, The Archbishop of Toronto- Thomas Cardinal Collins, and Frank Ferragine (Frankie Flowers) from Breakfast Television! The book-in-progress features my adventures having coffee with former Prime Minister Paul Martin, discussing some of the worlds most destructive places with Kenny vs Spenny star Kenny Hotz, meeting my childhood hero, author Eric Walters, discussing Russian gay rights laws with Olympic gold medalist Hayley Wickenheiser and human rights with Craig Kielburger.
