Currently the Internet is in the control of every individual who uses it. We can choose what sites to visit and use whatever programs we prefer. Big companies should not be able to dictate what sites load slowly, quickly, or not at all. President Obama outlined a plan today that would help ensure that all users are able to access all websites on an equal basis. It is an important step and I urge the FCC to put these proposals into effect quickly to create clear net neutrality standards. whitehouse.gov/net-neutrality
