Currently working on the sequel to Matt: The Xmas Dumbass. Its a cautionary tale of failing to remember to grab your house keys before going visiting people around town for the holidays. There began much joyful happenings. Laughing, drinking, eating good food. But then, at the end of a very pleasant and full evening, Matt reaches for his keys that are normally on a belt loop, and the sickening feeling of not feeling them there. He KNEW his lovely roommate was traveling to visit family. So naturally he searches, he panics some. He struggles to accept his fate. He calmly messages people who may be awake at 2AM Xmas morning and contemplates a locksmith. Locksmiths are expensive and want cash you dont possess. He reluctantly calls friends whom he doubts are awake at now 3AM to find that they in fact are still reveling! Then, through the power of a lowly aluminum ladder, and a trusted ally possessing Santa-like penetrative skills, he is able to gain access to his abode via a magically unlocked window. Now, armed with keys in hand he returns the ladder and imbibes in a couple beverages, returns home, cuddles with the sole animal resident and passes out accordingly only to awake refreshed later on Xmas morning! It was a pretty unimpressive first go, so hoping for more luck with a follow-up story. If anyone has any last-minute gift ideas I seem to have depleted my pride some, and could use a top-up.
