Cute as a button Zora is a safe, experienced trail horse who’s also fun to ride in the arena. She’s a registered Norwegian Fjord, coming 11 years old, 14.1 HH, with excellent bone and unique grey dunn colouring. She’s sound, super smooth, bright eyed, healthy, loves people, easy to catch, no vices. Shots, worming and trimming work are up to date – Zora has excellent feet and has been barefoot her entire life. She’s been used in the mountains and handles all kinds of terrain - steep hills, deadfall, rocky narrow trails, side hills, open meadows, tight timberland, creeks and bridges all in a steady, calm manner. She’s been ridden in open fields with other horses galloping around and stayed nice and relaxed. She’s been jumped over logs in the bush. She never spooks, is extremely good riding in any group but needs some encouragement when ridden out alone on trails – wonderful alone in an arena setting. Zora absolutely loves obstacle courses and would excel at mountain trail. She would suit a rider who wants to try lots of different things – Zora’s a smart girl and is happiest when her brain is engaged. She’s a pleasure to have around the property, loads and trailers, stands tied quietly, excellent manners for tacking up, worming, shots, having her feet trimmed. Stands quietly for mounting and dismounting. She gets along well with other horses and is mid-level in the herd hierarchy.
