D.C. was a very engaging and informative trip. Georgia Ave was lit. The White House turned all their lights off at 11pm so people would stop taking pictures. I never knew they had so many trees around the White House, they never show you that in the movies. Neither do they show you the hood just outside the White House. Downtown looked like a mix of the Village and Fort Greene. The Lincoln monument had tourists there at midnight. But my favorite of all time was building with the Gods and Earths, Howard University, the National Black United Front, and the community of people concerned with the present state of Hip Hop.
