DAILY CHALLENGE!!! Proverbs Chapter 31 Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy. (vs. 8+9) Speaking up in the face of injustice can be hard to do. Speaking for those to whom society has not given a voice is difficult because society might try to silence you too. We are called to speak up, point out, and give voice to the forced silent: the poor, sick, oppressed, abused, and destitute. Thanks be to God, Jesus has already spoken for us. This is what I have gotten out of the text-how about you Have a great day everyone. Ps-Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised (vs.30) PROVERB CHALLENGE-is continuing but as the DAILY CHALLENGE. Starting 10/2 we will be reading the Gospel of Mark (16 Chapters) till 10/17 and then reading The Prophet Hosea (14 Chapters) which will take us to the end of October.
