DAY 3: POPPY THE PLAYFUL PUP! Woke up this morning, took the dogs out and Poppy peed for the first time outside....Im doing the happy danceeeeeeeeeee! Its such a beautiful day, we decided to enjoy the outdoors for a bit and Poppy liked exploring the yard and prancing about in the grass! Shes getting better on the leash!! Thinking we will try our first walk later! We came inside and Poppy actually went up the 4 stairs all by herself...weve been practicing and this was also a first; so proud of herrrrrrrrrrr!!!! (We will continue to work on going down them.) Then, Poppy the Playful Pup came out...this video is so sweet and shows her awesome personality...I really laughed when she barked at the end and spooked herself! Priceless!!!!!!! FACTS ABOUT PUPPYMILLS: ***theres no potty training, they go when they gotta go and since they live on wire, it drops down onto the dogs below. ***they dont get to feel grass on their paws and enjoy the outdoors; they are kept in crates their entire life either inside a gross, stuffy enclosure or outside in the elements. ***they are never taken out of the crates for walks so they never learn to walk on a leash. ***there are no stairs to go up or down, so they are often petrified of stairs. ***they are never given toys, so they dont know what they are and oftentimes, their playful spirit is broken; they will never play with toys...its a true joy when we find a pooch with their playful spirit still in tact!
