DAY 4: OUR SWEET FOSTER POOCH...POPPY!!!! She had a great night and finally, we all had a good night sleep! Ive moved her crate next to my bed and shes much more at ease and no howling last night--Thank God!!!!...she went fast asleep! Appears she doesnt like being alone overnight (or maybe its too quiet for her) and this works for me too! I dont sleep with my foster pooches as our job is to prepare them for their next home and not everyone sleeps with their fur babies ... this makes the transition easier. She also went potty outside again this morning YIPPPEEEEE... and came in and pooped on my floor...well work on that, lol! More good news, she is now going up and down stairs! Shes still a little apprehensive going down...they are taller than her after all....i cant blame her.... but she is now following my dogs. So proud of her progress! Finally, shes becoming much more comfortable on my lap and is settling in quicker, laying there for hours if I let her...feelin the love! Shes giving me tons of kisses now and getting them right back!!!!!! Trust is building and I cant be happier!!!! It always amazes me how forgiving dogs are...something to be learned by that! PLEASE DONT BUY YOUR NEXT DOG FROM A STORE, KENNEL, FARM, ONLINE OR THROUGH NEWSPAPERS, ETC...CHOOSE TO ADOPT A RESCUE! THEY MAKE THE PERFECT PETS AND WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL TO YOU! XOXO
